1984 Guild D-55

1984 Guild D-55

Guild's flagship model, the D-55 was first introduced in 1968 as a special order item only, but the response was so strong that within a few years it was added to the line as a regular production model. The D-55 is prized by players worldwide-from John Renbourn to the Barenaked Ladies. This model features a Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, a three-piece mahogany neck, ebony bridge and fretboard with mother-of-pearl and abalone block position inlays, and G-shield logo.
